A Direct Support Professional provides support for developmentally disabled individuals either in a group home, day program or community setting. This involves personal care, administering medications, life skills, community activities and other related duties.

Crawford County Residential Direct Care

UCIP is accepting applications for several full-time Direct Service Professional positions in our Residential Program. The Residential positions are full-time and require evening and weekend availability. The positions provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Interested applicants should be motivated and reliable with a solid work history. These positions pay $10.50 per hour with benefits available after a probationary period for full-time staff which include medical, vision, dental, and retirement. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and medical examination; have favorable Act 33 and 34 Clearances; valid driver’s license; and receipt of a satisfactory driving record.

DSP’s provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities during daily community activities. Applicants should be motivated, patient, have good communication skills, the ability to complete required paperwork, be comfortable driving within the community, be flexible with hours, willing to work days, evenings and weekends. Positions start at $10.50 per hour. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and medical examination; have favorable Act 33 and 34 Clearances; valid driver’s license; and receipt of a satisfactory driving record.
