A Direct Support Professional provides support for developmentally disabled individuals either in a group home, day program or community setting. This involves personal care, administering medications, life skills, community activities and other related duties.

UCIP DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
UCIP is accepting applications for several Direct Support Professional positions in our Residential and Day Programs. Residential positions are primarily full time and require evening and weekend availability providing support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting. Day Program positions are both full-time and part-time, primarily daytime hours working one on one or in a group setting with individuals with disabilities. Interested applicants should be motivated and reliable with a solid work history. These positions start at $9.50 per hour with benefits available after successful completion of probationary period for full time staff. Interested applicants must also pass a pre-employment drug screening and medical examination; have favorable act 33 and 34 clearances, valid driver’s license and receipt of a satisfactory driving record containing no infractions, violations or suspensions within the last 5 years.
